Matteo Guidicelli feels a romance is more possible with Maja Salvador than with Andi Eigenmann

The two of them went together to the recent Star Magic Ball. 'Before the Ball tinanong ko na si Maja kasi wala siyang date. Wala akong date so tinanong ko siya kung okay lang na siya ang date ko. Okay naman sa kanya. Alam naman ni Andi na magkasama kami ni Maja.' It was during the tapings for Inday sa Balitaw that Matteo found the chance to get to know Maja better. 'Sobra saya niyang kasama. She'rsquo;s so sweet. She'rsquo;s the sweetest girl I have worked with. Parang ordinaryong tao lang siya. May dala siyang food, binibigyan niya ako kapag nagugutom ako. She'rsquo;s very generous. She likes to make everybody feel happy.' Matteo just laughed when asked to compare Maja to his previous leading lady Andi. 'Sweet din naman si Andi. 'lsquo;Wag naman nating i-compare, ha ha ha! Iba lang 'lsquo;yung sweetness ni Maja. Maja is a sincere, honest, sweet girl.' He further shared how he was flattered to see Maja in the audience at the recent fashion show where Matteo walked the ramp shirtless. 'I was very happy na nanood siya. I didn'rsquo;t know she was coming. Nagulat na lang ako nung nagrampa ako and I saw her sa audience. Apat silang na invite ko. Kaya lang si Maja ang sabi baka may shoot siya. Akala ko hindi na siya pupunta. Na surprise ako sobra.' The Italian-Cebuano cutie insisted though that he and Maja are just friends for now. 'She'rsquo;s just a friend. We'rsquo;re slowly getting to know each. I want to get to know her more pa. Sa ngayon I would say siya ang closest friend kong babae.' He even cleared up a story that claimed that he and Maja arrived together at a birthday party. 'Nagpunta kami sa surprise party ng kaibigan niya. Kaibigan ko rin 'lsquo;yun. Nandun din si Bianca (Gonzalez). Alam namin ni Maja na magkikita kami dun sa party. Sa isang club siya sa The Fort. Si Maja ang nag-organize nun and she invited me kasi friend ko rin 'lsquo;yung may birthday. Nakilala ko 'lsquo;yung friend niya na 'lsquo;yun because of Inday sa Balitaw.' Right now Matteo is more focused on his budding showbiz career, that'rsquo;s why having a girlfriend is not among his immediate priorities. 'Baguhan pa lang ako sa showbiz. Gusto ko dun muna ang focus ko. I want my shows to be successful. I want to make sure mabigay ko 'lsquo;yung 100% ko so ayokong may distraction. If ever I will have a girlfriend gusto ko siya 'lsquo;yung nakaka-motivate sa akin sa trabaho ko.'
