Sarah Geronimo said that she is grateful to people who have said that she has an effective team-up with Sam Milby and Coco Martin, her leading men in the primetime teleserye Idol. "Pareho nga akong kinikilig sa kanila," Sarah shared fondly. "Kapag ka-eksena ko si Sam may kilig, kay Coco iba din 'lsquo;yung kilig."

In Idol, Sarah portrays the role of Billie whose dream to become a famous singer drives her to join'mdash;and eventually win'mdash;in a prestigious singing contest. Love also seems to be in the cards since she has a growing attraction to her childhood friend, Vince (Sam). Due to some events, Billie had to go in hiding and assume a new identity as Jean. In a place where nobody knows her real identity, Billie struggles with having to give up her dream to be a popular singer and her love for Vince, for a new guy named Lando (Coco).

Having worked with different leading men in her projects, Sarah said that she prefers to work with many actors because it helps her grow as an actress. "As an individual na artist mas nakakapag-experiment ako to explore sa career mo [and] hindi ka nasa-stuck at hindi ka nakukulong sa isang kahon. Maganda na ganito," she related.

Sarah said that she is not bothered that some of her fans are against her being partnered with other leading men aside from John Lloyd Cruz. The singer-actress said that she could not blame the fans, who have grown to love her team-up with Lloydy when they did two blockbuster movies together. "Naiintindihan natin 'lsquo;yon, ako naman po ginagawa ko lang 'lsquo;yung trabaho ko at sa tingin ko makakabuti sa career ko. As long as wala akong natatapakan na ibang tao, e, 'lsquo;di tuloy-tuloy lang po tayo. Sabi nga ni John Lloyd, hindi naman makikitid ang utak ng mga supporters so maiintidihan din nila 'lsquo;yan."
