Rica Peralejo and Joseph Bonifacio talk about their life as a married couple.
Even though Rica Peralejo had to work during the Star Magic ball for Umagang Kay Ganda'rsquo;s showbiz segment, her husband Joseph Bonifacio had no trouble mingling with the other stars since he had already become friends with a lot of them. In an interview with ABS-CBN, he seemed comfortable while sharing the changes in their life as a married couple. "Kahit alisin mo pa yung trabaho ni'rsquo;yo, dun pa lang ang dami ng adjustments na kailangan 'lsquo;di ba? Yung friends mo, friends niya; pag-uwi niyo ng bahay, kailan mo gusto magising, kailan niya gusto magising; kailan mo gusto kumain, kailan niya gusto kumain, lahat yun. Pero masaya kasi good discoveries naman," he began.
Rica also related that sharing your life with your partner is the greatest challenge as well as the most amazing part of being married. "Kasi we suddenly have to think of another person as well. Merong time na kunwari yung mga things na dapat ikaw lang ang gumagawa, kahit yung mga simple things na na-mention niya like eating or going to parties, magkasama kami. There'rsquo;s a part of my life na hindi pwedeng ikaw lang ang dumiskarte. I guess dun pumapasok yung idea na sa lahat ng bagay may katuwang ka na."
When asked how they deal with each other'rsquo;s quirks or occasional temper tantrums, Rica explained that they have gotten used to it prior to their marriage. The only difference now is that they'rsquo;re now living in the same house and nothing would escape their notice if something is wrong. "Parang it used to be your mom, your dad or siblings pero 'lsquo;di pa rin ganon katutok. Not like between husband and wife kasi katabi mo na talaga matulog. Kaya yung kinikimkim mo hanggang matulog ka, mararamdaman niya yun."
As for their plans to raise a family, Joseph shared that his parents are the ones who are more excited about them having a baby. "Sinasabi nila walang pressure. Pero minsan hihirit yung daddy ko na, 'lsquo;Alam mo perfect na yung gabi na 'lsquo;to 'lsquo;pag may anak na ako e.'rsquo; Pero wala naman pressure, nakakatawa lang." But at any rate, they prefer to wait until Rica has finished her college studies so she can focus on being a mother. "After I graduate. Yun naman talaga ang gusto namin eh. Kasi mahirap din mag-aral at the same time mommy ka," she added.
