Queenie Padilla agrees that her brother Ali should go back to their mom Liezl Sicangco in Australia.
Queenie Padilla admitted that she really got emotional when she first learned that her brother Ali was being sent back to Australia so that their mom Liezl Sicangco could take care of him. But then she also realized that Ali'rsquo;s just a kid who needs to be constantly supervised at this point in time. "He has to go home kasi si daddy (Robin Padilla) wala ring oras. Si Ali 10 years old pa lang. And yes, mothers know best. Siyempre iba pa rin ang pag-aalaga ng isang ina. And my mom has all the time in the world to look after him."
When asked how Ali took the news, the young actress explained that it'rsquo;s perfectly natural for him to feel a bit sad. However, he really has no choice but to accept their parents'rsquo; decision since he'rsquo;s too young to decide for himself. "Well, I think he's probably sad to go. Siyempre he also wants to stay here. Pero he's 10 years old pa lang. He doesn'rsquo;t know what'rsquo;s best for him. Kahit gusto niya dito, hindi pwede, kasi sobrang busy si papa. Wala siyang guidance. Pero kami ni Kylie (her younger sister) dito lang kami sa Manila."
Robin was criticized by his ex-wife Liezl for not spending enough time with their son. Some people even wondered if his much-publicized romance with Mariel Rodriguez was taking most of his time nowadays. But Queenie denied that Robin has been neglectful of Ali'rsquo;s needs. "No, he's a good provider and he'rsquo;s always here for us."
Queenie claimed that she approves of Mariel as her dad'rsquo;s girlfriend and she doesn'rsquo;t mind if they later decide to get married. "Opo naman, mabait siya sa akin. She'rsquo;s a nice person. Magkasundo naman po kami. Sa akin naman, kung saan sila masaya, okay lang na sundin nila kung anong nararamdaman nila. They'rsquo;re old enough to know what'rsquo;s best for them. So of course, I am happy for them."
She also maintained that there'rsquo;s no truth to the rumors that Liezl is against Robin'rsquo;s relationship with Mariel. "Wala po siyang sinasabi [anything bad against Mariel]. She'rsquo;s already married. So in any case, walang hard feelings," Queenie stated.
