Lance said that it was a thrill to have worked with big stars in Gimik 2010, which included Judy Ann Santos, Diether Ocampo, and the other members of the original youth-oriented show. “Very humbling for me and I wish I could do another show like that,” said a hopeful Lance. Having been in the business for three-and-a-half years, Lance said that he has not yet reached the kind of showbiz success he dreams of for himself, but he said that he will patiently wait for his time to shine. Though he still considers himself a newbie, Lance is really flattered when people would approach him and tell him that he is getting better. “They just come to me and say that they see my improvement,” he said smiling. Lance said that he is also aware of comments that his detractors post on the Internet, but he said that he does not let them affect him in a negative way. “I read a lot of comments parang wala daw akong dating. I take them as constructive criticisms to make me better. No hard feelings [because] it’s going to help me more,” he said.
