Ex-PBB teen housemate Joe Vargas would love to work with Melai Cantiveros

<img align='left' alt='' src=''>Joe Vargas never thought that his dream of joining showbiz would be possible, especially now that he has gained popularity after his stint as a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010. Following his eviction, Joe had tried to stroll around in a mall with his friends when he had some surprising encounters with fans. “May mga nagpapa-picture na sa akin. Ang sarap ng feeling. May mga nakakakilala na pala sa akin. Lalapit sila sa akin, ‘Si Joe! Si Papa Bear! Mas maputi ka pala sa personal!,’” he told with ABS-CBN.com. The 17-year old said that he is very much willing to give showbiz a try, may it be in the field of drama acting, singing, or comedy. “Nung bata ako naiisip kong mag-artista pero hindi ko akalain na magkakatotoo pala siya. Ngayon kahit anong ibigay na project sa akin gagawin ko. Kahit siguro panguyain ako ng bato sa harap ng camera, ha ha ha!” While he has crushes on Anne Curtis, Angelica Panganiban, Bianca Gonzalez, and Mariel Rodriguez, Joe would rather have the Big Winner of the Pinoy Big Brother Double Up season as his leading lady in his first acting venture. “Si Melai (Cantiveros), ha ha ha! Astig!” Being a natural comedian, Joe earned the reputation as the joker inside Kuya’s house, that’s why the other housemates saw it as a big loss when Joe was evicted. However, there were also those who were happy that he was finally eliminated from the reality competition. Joe apparently got on some people’s bad side for his tactlessness, which he justified as just part of his pagpapakatotoo. “Ang corny naman kung nasa loob ako ng bahay tapos a-acting lang ako na kunwari ang bait bait ko. Ang sagwa naman kasi hindi naman ako ‘yun. Ang PBB is all about pagpapakatotoo. Kung acting rin lang, dito na lang sa labas ako a-acting pero hindi sa PBB. Nakakahiya naman sa mga nakakakilala sa akin kung if ever naging Big Winner ako, pero dahil nag-acting lang ako,” he explained. Joe is placing his bets on two of his Pinoy housemates to bag the title of Big Winner. “Gusto ko manalo either si Ivan (Dorschner) or si Devon (Seron). Si Ivan kahit Amerikano ang dating nasa loob niya ‘yung kagustuhang maging Pinoy. Si Devon naman totoong tao. Wala kang masasabing anong kaplastikan sa kanya, na para lang maging safe siya sa nomination o maging maganda ang dating niya sa TV.”
