Isabelle Abierra’s career has been on the rise lately, landing a co-hosting job on Wowowee and a role in the upcoming afternoon soap opera Rosalka. “Sobrang blessed talaga ako. Hindi rin talaga ako makapaniwala na ganun kabilis ‘yung pangyayari,” she explained.
While the actress-host said that she waited four years for her big break, Isabelle strongly believes that these projects came at just the right time. “Matagal rin akong naghintay, four years, but then at least sabay dumating and handa na ako at nagpapasalamat ako na handa na ako ngayon kasi kung dumating earlier, baka hindi ko ma-appreciate the way I appreciate it now.”
She further stressed that in those four years of waiting, Isabelle was able to truly define what she really wants. “I realized na ito talaga ang gusto kong gawin, ito talaga ang pangarap ko mula nang bata pa ako. At least ngayon nakita ko ang mga kasama ko nagbu-bloom si Empress… I’m just so honored to be a part of that, na even me, I’m blooming now with a lot of projects.”
Since she hosts from Mondays to Saturdays and shoots for Rosalka at the same time, Isabelle said that her schedule is definitely hectic but she is not complaining at all. “Masaya naman kasi workaholic naman talaga ako, so tuluy-tuloy lang ang trabaho and masaya naman ako because it keeps me energized. May Sunday naman pero nalulungkot ako ‘pag walang trabaho,” she explained.
Rosalka premieres on May 17, after Wowowee, replacing Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal?
