Matteo Guidicelli wants to pursue a singing career

Since he is more known for his racecar driving and modeling, people were taken aback that he was able to pull off singing with the two heartthrobs. As a matter of fact, Matteo wants to do more singing so he already asked his manager Joji Dingcong and Star Magic bosses Johnny Manahan and Mariole Alberto about it. 'I love to sing. I told my managers—Kuya Joji, Mr. M., Ms. Mariole—that sana I could do music next. I’ve wanted to pursue it ever since [my modeling days]. I even studied musical theater. I did not finish though, [since] I took if for two years only. Kapag nasa bahay kumakanta po ako. Ang gusto ko talaga is musical theater, mga standards and love songs. ”Now that he is enjoying acting success with Agua Bendita, Matteo said that he wants to do action movies and soaps just like Gerald Anderson and Coco Martin. “Sana in the future I can do like an action movie. I want to try it. Pwede ko rin naman i-try yung other genres like comedy.” When he asked who he wants to be partnered with, Matteo said that he admires ABS-CBN's young teleserye actresses and wants to work with them in the future. “I wish to work with Sarah Geronimo talaga and KC Concepcion, I think she is amazing. Si Andi Eigenmann, of course. Erich Gonzales and Angel Locsin, I worked with her dati for a dubbing thing, she is really nice.” Meanwhile, Matteo is Studio 23's newest VJ. He also recently signed a two picture contract with Star Cinema. 'I feel so blessed these days it is crazy,' Matteo said.
