Bianca Manalo is in no rush to fall in love

After signing a two-year contract with ABS-CBN, Bianca Manalo said that she is happy because she has dreamt of working with the Kapamilya network ever since she was younger. “’Yung contract po is assurance they will give me more shows na dito na talaga ang network ko; Kapamilya na talaga ako,” she said. “Masaya kasi bata pa lang ako certified Kapamilya ako. ‘Yung Sarimanok (formerly The Filipino Channel), alam ko ‘yung kulay na ‘yan.”

Aside from her current afternoon teleserye Juanita Banana, Bianca said that she has no idea yet as to what her future projects would be. She even joked that her manager, Joji Dingcong (who also manages Derek Ramsay and Matteo Guidicelli) usually just surprises her if she has project offers.

The beauty queen-turned-actress also stressed that there is no truth in persistent reports that she and Zanjoe Marudo are getting romantically closer. “Kasi nung lumabas kami ng Magkaribal before kasama siya. Pero ang kasama niya noon si Bea (Alonzo) kasi nga pino-promote nila ‘yung Sa ‘Yo Lamang, close talaga sila. Tapos wala na, nakarating na sa tao kami na ang magkasama,” she revealed. But she insisted that she never exchanged phone numbers with Zanjoe and that they don’t communicate at all. This is why she feels embarrassed that issues about them are coming out even when there is no truth to them.

When asked her if she has any suitors now, she replied, “Wala naman. Ewan ko, siguro manhid ako,” she said. Nevertheless, Bianca stressed that there is no need to rush love, especially now that she is focused on her showbiz career. She is also confident that the right love will come when she is ready. She revealed that she wants a man who is God-fearing, responsible, and will give her the freedom to enjoy her life.
