Ronnie Liang talks about his upcoming projects this 2011.
Singer-actor Ronnie Liang has been out of the limelight recently, allegedly because of certain attitude problems handlers and producers have experienced with him. When Push.com.ph ran into Ronnie last week, he said there’s no truth to these allegations. “Unang una hindi naman ako kilala ng mga tao so madali siguro for them to make accusations. Everyone is entitled naman to their own opinion. Pero walang katotohanan ‘yun.”
The Pinoy Dream Academy finalist said he’s taking on a positive outlook despite the persistent destructive rumors. “Salamat sa airtime na naibibigay sa akin. Exposure rin. Sino ba naman ako para pansinin nila? Siguro sa showbiz ngayon boring kapag wala kang isyu.” He couldn’t deny that probably in showbiz, negative publicity is still a publicity. “Thankful pa rin ako kasi nagiging positive naman ‘yung outcome kasi tumaas ‘yung sales ng perfume endorsement ko at ang album ko. Probably na curious ‘yung mga tao kaya magpa platinum na ‘yung album ko.”
Ronnie admitted that at times he would feel hurt whenever a nasty rumor about him would come up. He then sent out this message to showbiz reporters who seemed to have made a habit to embarrass him. “Kung dun sila masaya, wala na siguro akong magagawa. Sana lang hindi sumakit ‘yung mga tiyan nila dahil kumikita sila sa paninira ng ibang tao.”
He also said he is back with his original manager who helped him to start out in showbiz. “I’m back with Kuya George Roca, sa kanya ako galing before I moved kay Arnold Vegafria. Pero while I was with Arnold, I still had communication with Kuya George. Nung nalaman niya na wala na ako kay Arnold siya agad ‘yung humawak sa akin.”
Ronnie shared that 2011 seems to be promising for his career. “Positive ang 2011 for me because I just renewed my contract with Joel Cruz. ‘Yung dalawang perfume ko umabot ng a million in sales. Magkakaroon pa ng iba by next year. ‘Yung album ko naman under Universal Records ilalabas na next year.”
