Regine Velasquez reveals her plans after her wedding to Ogie Alcasid in 'The Buzz Magasin.'
After her December 22 Nasugbu, Batangas beach wedding to Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez had said in an interview published in The Buzz Magasin that she is not pressuring herself to get pregnant very soon. "Depende. Kung mabubuntis, okay. Kung hindi naman, okay lang din. Magtatrabaho pa rin ako."
Regine also shared with The Buzz Magasin that after the wedding, she and Ogie would be going on a three-week honeymoon, after which she would resume work on her upcoming TV drama. The premier diva explained that Ogie is not asking her to leave showbiz and become just a stay-home wife. "I'rsquo;d still be working. Ogie doesn'rsquo;t want me to stop. Although alam ko naman kung kailan dapat mag-stop. Pero sa ngayon, okay pa naman. Nage-enjoy pa naman ako. 'lsquo;Yung mga tao parang gusto pa naman nila akong madinig and makita so I'rsquo;m happy about that. I'rsquo;m still enjoying this very much."
At 40, Regine feels she is mature enough to have decided to "live in" with Ogie prior to getting married. She described it as the best decision she has ever made so far in her life. "It'rsquo;s parang the best decision I'rsquo;ve ever made'mdash;to live together first before we get married'mdash;because I won'rsquo;t be shocked anymore kasi nakapag-adjust na kami. Ang saya, parang bahay-bahayan."
