President Noynoy Aquino merely escorted his sister Kris at the premiere night of her movie 'Dalaw' last Sunday.
President Noynoy Aquino showed his all-out support for his sister Kris as he graced the premiere night of her movie Dalaw at Trinoma Mall last December 19. The huge crowd at the entrance of the cinema were all waiting to see if he truly brought a date with him just like what Kris said in previous interviews. But the president arrived at the event with only Kris and his usual entourage of presidential security guards. Few minutes after their arrival, Noynoy'rsquo;s rumored girlfriend Liz Uy was spotted as she quickly went inside the cinema while the two were being interviewed for the live telecast of The Buzz. Kris later claimed, however, that she is her brother'rsquo;s date that night and no one else.
After watching Dalaw, the ever-accommodating president shared with the local media that he is impressed with the over-all production value of his sister'rsquo;s first ever co-produced movie. He loved the unexpected twists in the story and how the characters delivered a great performance. "I like the story actually. The effects were believable. But more than anything else I like the fact that it'rsquo;s a story-driven movie." But the president refused to give a bias answer when asked if he thinks that Kris has proven yet again that she is the Queen of Philippine Horror in her portrayal in Dalaw.'nbsp; "Hindi ko naman masabi kung siya ang queen sa kaisa-isang horror na napanood natin in a long while." But he added that he definitely enjoyed watching the film.
Other celebrities who were spotted at the premiere night include Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Vice Ganda and Iza Calzado among others.
