Kris Aquino is very much happy that she and ex-husband James Yap are beginning to become good friends despite the impending annulment case.
Kris Aquino recently revealed that while her leading man in the movie Dalaw Diether Ocampo is in Australia, she had convinced her ex-husband James Yap to play Diet'rsquo;s body double for the short but very important scene in the film.'nbsp; Kris explained that she never had a hard time asking James for this favor because they are now on good terms despite agreeing to split seven months ago. "The truth is, we've been separated to close of seven months, so nandoon na kami sa okay na. We'rsquo;re at a good point in our lives now and nauubos na namin 'lsquo;yung kung ano mang galit na natitira sa amin. We're really better off living separate lives."
Kris added that the reason James was very cooperative for work in Dalaw was because he wanted to show their three-year-old son Baby James that they are very much okay. "The main thing is we have a three-year-old. Sana man lang at least in the next 15 years we can become co-parents to him. Kailangan talaga maging maganda ang samahan namin."
However, Kris and James could still not talk about the details of their annulment case after the court issued a gag order on the both of them.'nbsp; Though battling in court, the actress-TV host and the basketball star are at peace with one another. "Lawyers make it very difficult.'nbsp; But that'rsquo;s part of their job and I understand that. Kung okay naman ang lahat, bakit kayo maghihiwalay? But as a couple you can be okay talaga kapag na-transcend na ninyo, on my part lahat ng sakit ang mistakes, on his part lahat ng disappointment because I gave up."
Known for being too honest in her interviews, Kris blurted out to reporters that there would be times she and James would hug each other just to please their son. "Kasi, sinasabi ni Bimby, 'You hug my Mama!' So, mag-e-embrace kami. Alam niyo, wala kaming ligtas. Siguro, talagang uto-uto kami no'ng maliit. Kaya gagawin na lang namin!"
James still gets to spend quality time with his son and take him to his basketball games, as stated in the visitation rights granted to him by the court. Reporters were also intrigued when Kris revealed that James had slept with them in their condominium unit. "James has slept in the house three times already and I slept in the closet (laughs). It's still a conjugal home, so he's allowed to be there. Our condo has three bedrooms. One is Josh's (Kris'rsquo;s eldest son) room. The guest room is also my dressing room and the big room is Bimby's room, at share kami dun. So, the night that James was there, doon ako sa dressing room ko natulog, sa folding bed."
