Ai-Ai de las Alas admits that she was prepared for the Tanging Ina series to come to an end

Ai-Ai de las Alas said that she is not sad about the fact that Tanging Ina III: Last Na 'lsquo;To is the final installment of the Tanging Ina movie series. "Ang buhay naman talaga ng tao may hangganan. Sabi nga ni Direk Wenn (Deramas) sa relationship ito 'lsquo;yung closure," explained the Comedy Concert Queen about her upcoming film which will be shown this December. "Ready ako na ito 'lsquo;yung last at mas maganda ang last nasa top ka, parang grandiose exit."

The comedienne said that the film'rsquo;s last installment is very special to her because some of the actors who play her kids have agreed to be part of it, even if Marvin Agustin is already with the rival network and Yuki Kadooka is now based in Japan. "Masayang-masaya ako kasi kumpleto kami and napaka-puso ng reunion namin. Lahat napaka-classic, napaka-historical," Ai-Ai beamed.

While Ai-Ai admitted that she feels pressured for the movie to do good since the first two installments were certified blockbuster hits, she said she has learned to be more trusting. When Ang Tanging Ina opened in 2003, a huge part of the country was under a signal number three typhoon but it did not hinder the film from becoming one of Star Cinema'rsquo;s top-grossing movies of all time. "In every movie na ginagawa ko parating dini-dedicate ko sa Kanya, kay God. Sabi ko, 'lsquo;Ikaw na ang bahala kung ano'rsquo;ng gusto Mo para sa pelikula namin. Thy will be done.'rsquo; Parati 'lsquo;yon," said the actress. "And alam ko ibi-bless Niya 'lsquo;yung movie namin dahil this is about family culture ng mga Pilipino."

Ai-Ai also revealed that there are talks that she and Vice Ganda will do a film together if things go as planned. "May mga plano naman ang Star Cinema pero ngayon alam ko meron kami ni Vice. Alam ko na ang story, [pero] hindi ko pa lang alam sa side nila pero excited siya nakausap ko si Ogie (Diaz, Vice Ganda'rsquo;s manager)." 'nbsp;

As for her love life, Ai-Ai said that she intends to set this aside and concentrate on her career. "Ayoko na muna kasi gusto ko munang asikasuhin 'lsquo;yung career ko, 'lsquo;yung concert ko, itong movie. Kumbaga busy ako this year, baka next year na lang isipin natin," she said with a laugh.
