All set to be one of the main hosts of the new teen variety show Shout Out!, Empress admits she can’t help but miss the bond she had with the cast and crew of her PMPC Best Daytime Drama Series Rosalka, which aired its last episode last month. The six-month-long drama had former child actress Empress portray the role of a hunchback. “Ang pinaka-ma-miss ko is yung bonding namin doon. Yung friendship ko with the cast and yung production and siyempre yung characters namin. Kasi kakaiba yun eh.
The 17-year-old actress, who’s been in showbiz since she was nine years old, admits that Rosalka has been her most challenging role to date. So masaya, sobrang saya,” she shares.
Empress also shares the biggest lesson she has learned from doing the series.
This realization is something that Empress hopes to apply in her succeeding projects.
The teen actress is currently shooting the Metro Manila Film Fest film entry Dalaw, which also stars Kris Aquino. She is also currently in talks for a new teleserye which is due to start production early next year. “This movie is really different from Rosalka. This time, horror talaga. Hindi naman ako yung multo (laughs) pero expect na nila na walang pa-sweet dito and kung gusto nila matakot, manuod sila,” she advises.
