Boy Abunda reveals that Mariel Rodriguezs contract with Entertainment Live will end this year

But he clarified that she hasn'rsquo;t decided yet whether or not she will continue her hosting stint in the said showbiz-oriented talk show. 'Our contract with E-Live is until the end of the year. Hindi ko alam yung iba pang provisions. We'll have to review this. Ngayong sabado po kami ni Mariel mag-uusap [tungkol sa] mga plano sa kanyang karera. So first time namin itong umupo after [niya makabalik mula sa] India kung anong direksyon, kung anong aming gagawin, bago ako makipagusap sa ating mga bosses dito sa ABS-CBN.' Boy also claimed he had no knowledge of any offers for Mariel to transfer to Willing Willie on TV5. Mariel is reportedly considering other options for her career, especially after all the controversies she has encountered in her home network these past few months. 'Wala pa sa aking kumakausap. I think they (staff of Willing Willie) are getting in touch with Mariel pero sa akin wala. Yung mga pagpapadala ng feelers 'lsquo;di ko talaga alam yun. Now, 'lsquo;wag natin kakalimutan na ang staff ng Willing Willie are people close to Mariel and Mariel has a relationship with them. I don'rsquo;t know who made the first move, who didn'rsquo;t make the first move, I don'rsquo;t know,' he reiterated. Although he is Mariel'rsquo;s manager, Boy refused to make any decisions for her career without consulting her first. 'It is not my call [kung gusto ko ba personally na mag-stay siya sa E-Live], it is hers. Ayokong pangunahan siya. Igagalang ko kung anong desisyon ni Mariel. Even Boy acknowledged the fact that the two are still not on good terms to this day. 'Ay hindi pa. Pero merong mga signs na parang papunta dun. Una, ang puhunan nila Mariel at Toni ay isang napakalakas na pagkakaibigan. So there are indications na parang magkakasalubong at magkakausap. I'rsquo;m really glad if it happens. Nag-promote pa nga si Mariel ng My Amnesia Girl. Malay natin magkasama-sama lahat ng elemento ngayong Pasko at pagkakaibigan so malay natin maayos.'
