Carlos Agassi says his good physique is a product of working out in the gym and proper diet.
At the press conference of the movie My Amnesia Girl, actor Carlos Agassi was once again asked by reporters about persistent claims that he has gotten seriously ill because of too much intake of steroids. Carlos laughed and then answered, “Thank you na lang, but so far, sa awa ng Diyos, dalawang taon, kahit sipon, ‘di pa ako nagkakasipon. So far, wala naman po akong problema.”
Carlos also dismissed stories that said he had been frequently confined at the St. Lukes hospital.
The former member of defunct ASAP boy group The Hunks – which also included Piolo Pascual, Diether Ocampo, Jericho Rosales, and Bernard Palanca – suspect that maybe there are people who couldn’t believe how he maintained a good physique for more than 10 years now, despite not being active in showbiz lately.
He explained that he is aware of what steroids can do to a man’s body. If he is using this said substance, his physique would have a different look. “Kapag nag-steroids ka, lalaki yung buto mo, lalaki yung muscles mo. So hindi ka pupuwedeng kagaya ko na lean lang na ganito, and then puwedeng lumaki. Forever ka nang malaki. Pangit po ‘yun sa TV.”
