Gary Valenciano on issue with Annabelle Rama: No problem, whatsoever

Gary Valenciano said at his album launch Wednesday, October 6, that the rift between his wife, Angeli Pangilinan and Annabelle Rama is a closed issue. The said misunderstanding first started when Ruffa Gutierrez told her mom Annabelle that Angeli supposedly told her to avoid cosmetic procedures, a statement that offended the former beauty queen.

Last September 12, Gary V. appeared on The Buzz to defend his wife and explained that they did not want to get into a fight with the Gutierrez family and wanted the issue behind them. However, Annabelle reacted by saying in her interview that the issue was not over yet because she did not get an apology from the couple.

"Yun na 'lsquo;yung closure," responded Gary, referring to his The Buzz appearance, when asked for a reaction at his album launch entitled Replay. "Kasi narinig ko rin siya (Annabelle) at sabi parang okay na, hindi na kailangang pag-usapan pa and I think Angeli and Ruffa'hellip;you know also had closure and I'rsquo;m okay, I'rsquo;m fine."'nbsp; Although other people still tackle the issue, Gary explained that he wants to move on. "As far as I'rsquo;m concerned, naniniwala ako na kung ano 'lsquo;yung sinabi niya at kung ano 'lsquo;yung binanggit sa TV na sana hanggang dito na lang, 'lsquo;yun para sa akin hanggang dun na lang talaga."

Mr. Pure Energy added that he would not hesitate to greet Annabelle if he ever sees her.'nbsp; "I'rsquo;ll give her a hug. I know there will be a proper time naman where there'rsquo;s a lot more intimacy, less people around and then we can talk," he explained.

He even complimented the controversial talent manager that despite her reputation for being candid, she has raised her children properly. "I have to say at least just for that, it'rsquo;s good to know she'rsquo;s brought up [her children well]. Hindi lang sila good-looking and they'rsquo;re very good people also. And of course Tito Eddie (Gutierrez), lahat ng buong Pilipinas nagmamahal kay Tito Eddie, kahit si Tita Annabelle. No problem, whatsoever."

Gary V justified that he needed to speak up on behalf of his wife/manager because it is the right thing to do as Angeli'rsquo;s husband. "Bihira kasi akong magsalita, and I felt I had to do something. Ayoko namang isipin ng tao na ano bang ginawa ni Gary sa lahat ng ito, tumahimik lang siya porke'rsquo;t manager niya?" he explained. "You can'rsquo;t just let the manager do everything because she'rsquo;s not just a manager, more than that she'rsquo;s my wife so I had to just let people know na alam ko talaga ang nangyari. But at the same time, as husband to Angeli and as a person who'rsquo;s made to show a good example by practicing it, kung ano'rsquo;ng sinabi sa The Buzz that'rsquo;s it. Okay na. If I see Tita Annabelle I'rsquo;ll go up to her and hug her. I'rsquo;m okay."

As for his 25th full-length studio album, Gary said that Replay is a compilation of previous songs from different albums. "It'rsquo;s a compilation of songs na sa palagay namin noong unang release dapat naging hit pero hindi naging&l
