Richard Poon says Maricar Reyes knows that hes not the type whod lie about his love life

Since Maricar never talks about her love life in public, Push.com.ph asked Richard if his surprising revelation might cause a problem between them. 'I think we'rsquo;ve discussed it once or twice. But ako, I respect her for whatever decision she has. If she chooses to be silent, then for me, I'rsquo;d give her the space that she needs. But if ever, one day she shocks all of you by saying something about me, wow, I'rsquo;ll be the happiest man on the planet.' Richard admitted that Maricar'rsquo;s the first girl he'rsquo;s ever courted in showbiz and he didn'rsquo;t deny that he felt a special connection between them when they first met almost two years ago. 'I believe in all mysteries. I am happy that all of our prayers when we were younger were not all answered. Can you imagine, if what you prayed in high school, 'lsquo;Sana kami na, sana siya na...'rsquo; I'rsquo;m glad that sometimes our prayers are not answered para mapunta ka sa tama in the future. Nagulat din ako kasi from the very start when we saw each other, there's already something. And sometimes you wonder, but as time pass by, nagblo-blossom siya so it'rsquo;s fun.' When asked if he considers Maricar an answered prayer, he replied, 'I think so. 'lsquo;Cause all of the things I'rsquo;m looking for nasa kanya e. People are wondering why for many years wala akong kinonsider. Some would ask me, 'lsquo;O don'rsquo;t you like this girl? She'rsquo;s beautiful.'rsquo; 'lsquo;Yeah, she's beautiful pero wala akong nararamdaman e.'rsquo; Maybe because hindi kami talaga swak. Pero sa kanya a lot of our differences nag-complement naman. And kapag nagkwekwentuhan kami, we share the same beliefs when it comes to [praying for the right one to come along].' Given the fact that they get along very well, it seems that there'rsquo;s more to what Richard is saying in terms of the status of their relationship. 'I think you should ask her not me [kung anong lagay ko sa kanya]. Pero masaya, kasi tama ka, if she didn'rsquo;t really like me she could say, 'lsquo;I'rsquo;m busy, I'rsquo;m taping Imortal. I got to do some vampire stuff.'rsquo; Pero hindi naman. She'rsquo;s taking time for me and I really like her. Sana, I really hope na [maging kami na].
