Melissa Ricks is happy for Jolo Revilla's recent win as barangay captain in Cavite.
Melissa Ricks was really proud of her onscreen partner Jolo Revilla for his successful venture into politics. The young actor was one of the celebrities who joined the recently-concluded barangay polls and was hailed as the captain of Barangay Panapaan 7 in Cavite. "Oo naman, I'rsquo;m happy for him. He's following in his father'rsquo;s footsteps and malaking bagay yun para sa kanya. Congrats to him kasi hindi lang siya successful sa showbiz, successful din siya sa political career," she stated in an interview with Push.com.ph during the premiere night of Till My Heartaches End.
The pretty actress couldn'rsquo;t help but laugh though when asked if she'rsquo;s willing to act as Jolo'rsquo;s first lady. They were romantically linked when they first worked together on Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat Ni Ramon Revilla. "Ganon, first lady ng barangay? Kung meron mang first lady ng barangay hindi ako yun. Tignan natin kung sinong first lady niya. Hindi ko pa siya nakakausap pero magkasama naman kami sa taping ng Noah so for sure I'rsquo;ll get to congratulate him in person as well. Pero wala ng mga ganyang intriga," she cheerfully exclaimed.
In the meantime, she'rsquo;s also happy for the success of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson'rsquo;s latest movie. "It'rsquo;s a well-written script and ang galing ni Kim and Gerald. I'rsquo;ve worked with them before in Paano Na Kaya which was shown early this year and they have gotten better this time around. Ang saya kasi kasama ko pang manood sina Kitkat and Empress. Lahat kami nagustuhan ang Till My Heartaches End. Actually, this movie is very relatable. If you'rsquo;ve been in a relationship and you'rsquo;ve experience heartaches, talagang you'rsquo;ll identify with the characters of the story."
