Vina Morales says she's not sure if her reunion movie with Robin Padilla will still push through.
A movie was supposedly in the works for ex-lovers Robin Padilla and Vina Morales after their kilig reunion several months ago on the now-defunct noontime show Wowowee. But in a recent interview with Vina, she expressed her hesitations in doing the project knowing that Robin is still adjusting to his married life with Mariel Rodriguez. "In love na in love si Robin e, paano kaya yun? You know what, after nung nag-guest ako sa Wowowee and everyone was really saying na, 'lsquo;Uy gawa kayo ng pelikula together,'rsquo; and meron ng mga meeting na mag-uumpisa na, excited na excited ako. And si Robin naman, 'lsquo;O Vina ha, after Agua Bendita, ikaw na lang hinihintay namin.'rsquo; Pero after Agua Bendita, wala pa rin, hindi pa rin nauumpisahan," she said during the press con for the Pampers diapers-Gymboree Play 'amp; Music Celebrity Babylympics at Crowne Plaza last October 21.
Based on her previous talks with Robin, the singer-actress thought that concrete plans had already been made for their reunion movie Ang Tatay Kong Hoodlum (a sequel to their 'lsquo;90s hit film Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum). But from the looks of it, Robin has had a sudden change of heart regarding the project. "I really don'rsquo;t know the whole story but ang sa akin, I'rsquo;d love to do another movie with him. Ang last movie pa namin was Pwedeng Pwede. But I really wish him well. He's in love and ngayon lang yung time na he wants to spend more time with his loved ones. So hayaan na natin. But I really wish him well," she reiterated.
But just in case their movie pushes through, Vina hoped that she wouldn'rsquo;t be romantically linked to Robin given their much-publicized relationship many years ago. "Sana wala ng intriga, lalo na silang dalawa [ni Mariel], yung love life nila baka intrigahin naman din. So nakaka-stress din yung kung iisipin mo. But I am sure naman alam naman ng tao yung totoo," she added.
