Yeng Constantino is proud to be a brand endorser

<img align='left' alt='' src='' >When Josephine “Yeng” Constantino first entered showbiz, she was a spunky aspiring songwriter who had no idea what lay ahead of her. Now, she’s dubbed the 'Rockoustic Princess of the Philippines” and considered one of the role models for the youth of today. Aside from her job as host of Music Uplate Live, Yeng is also proud to have been chosen as the endorser of a local clothing brand RRJ. “Naku, nakakataba talaga ng puso. Ito yung unang endorsement ko ulit kasi ang tagal na since nag-endorse ako nung mga produkto. Ngayon, sobrang saya ako. Ang sarap ng pakiramdam na may mga nagtitiwala sayo para maging torch bearer ng kanilang produkto. So I’m looking forward sa marami pang projects na darating with RRJ,” she said. The talented singer-songwriter also admitted that being a model endorser also helped boost her self-confidence and stature. “Nakatulong ito in a sense na nakakadagdag ng confidence. Yung alam mo na yung mga boss mo nagtitiwala sayo kasi masarap yun, yung ginagawa mo na-a-appreciate nila and kung ano man yung i-ne-embody mo as a person and beliefs mo, naniniwala rin sila. Like my music, actually ang hirap pumasok [sa music scene] kasi ang kinahihiligan ng mga Pinoy is usually yung mga ballads and ganito, ganyan and ako yung first solo artist na medyo nag go-go against the flow. So yung ganun na kahit ginagawa ko yung gusto ko, na parang hindi ko alam kung tama ba, pero ito yung passion ko, yung mga boss ko parang ang sabi ‘Sige go lang Yeng! Do what you want. We will support you.’ Nakaka-boost talaga ng confidence to the highest level,” she explained. Known for her edgy fashion sense, Yeng said she has gone a long way from how she used to project herself in Pinoy Dream Academy. “Parang yung sa transition ko from yung bata na naka-Chuck Taylors dati na naka-gown and all, yung evolution ko bilang artist and sa age ko na ito, parang ang sarap lang na meron kang kasama na partner na tutulungan ka dun sa fashion na gusto mo ipakita sa mga tao.” Yeng cited Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams and Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen as some of her fashion favorites. “Favorite ko siya sa Gossip girl. Siya talaga yung gusto ko. Yung stylist ko nagpakita sa akin sa kanya, sabi ko, ‘Wow ang ganda!’ Gusto ko siya gawing peg so gaya nung buhok niya, gulo-gulo lang, lumalabas siya ng bahay yung mga paparazzi photos niya, ina-archive ko sa aking laptop. Yung ibang porma niya talagang sobrang cute and rock ‘n roll,” she said.
