At a recent jewelry and fragrance line launch, Ruffa Gutierrez expressed her appreciation for Shaina Magdayao'rsquo;s appeal to some media people to not provoke the two actresses into a fight. Shaina, John Lloyd Cruz'rsquo;s current girlfriend, added that Ruffa, Lloydy'rsquo;s ex, should not also be dragged into issues concerning the couple.

"Oh, thank you," was Ruffa'rsquo;s first reaction. "As long as hindi ako lumalabas na negative, it'rsquo;s fine. I mean it'rsquo;s such a small industry and I think what'rsquo;s happening in the Philippines, everyone knows each other and at one point, lahat kayo'hellip; ex mo yesterday, kaaway mo tomorrow, bati na naman kami next week. So for me, especially when it comes to negative things, I really wish hindi ako ma-involve sa mga ganyan. Like I said, I have nothing but good words for the person (John Lloyd) and whether he calls me or not it'rsquo;s not important anymore." This statement of Ruffa'rsquo;s refers to a rumor that she and John Lloyd are communicating again. Though Shaina said in an interview that she and Lloydy have talked about this issue, she would rather that her boyfriend speak for himself. For her part, Ruffa denied the claim that she and Lloydy were recently spotted eating together in a restaurant.

When the actress-host was asked for her reaction about the John Lloyd-Shaina relationship, she answered, "I don'rsquo;t want to talk about other people'rsquo;s relationships because I have my own life to worry about and I have two kids that I have to focus on. So I don'rsquo;t want to talk about people who don'rsquo;t concern me."

When prodded about claims that Shaina and Lloydy are getting into fights because of the recent issues, Ruffa stressed, "Wala akong reaction. Parang, huh? Nagulat lang ako, 'lsquo;yun lang. I mean I don'rsquo;t know if it'rsquo;s true or not, but if it'rsquo;s ever true or not, honestly, I really don'rsquo;t care. Wala akong alam tungkol sa kanila, I'rsquo;m dating other people. That is old news."

Ruffa also said that rumors of a romance between her and businessman Cesar Flores, president of Smartmatic-Total Information Management Corp for Asia Pacific are exaggerated. "Natatawa nga ako kasi may mga nababasa ako na break na raw kami, paano kami nag-break 'lsquo;di naman kami naging mag-on? Let'rsquo;s determine naman kung kaibigan, pumoporma pa lang o sinagot ko na. After JL (John Lloyd), wala pa akong nakakarelasyon so I want to make that clear."
