Vice Ganda admits he got burnt out because of his schedule.
Vice Ganda considered giving up his stint as resident judge of Showtime, but realized later on how much he loves the show. Last August, Vice got burned out from his demanding work schedule so he took a couple of weeks off and had a vacation in Europe. He admitted that he considered giving up the show while he was on vacation, but eventually realized how attached he is to Showtime, particularly with its hosts, Anne Curtis and Vhong Navarro. "Napagod talaga ako. Naubos talaga ang laman ng utak ko. Parang feeling ko wala na kong maio-offer, nahiya na ako sumali ulit," he confessed. "Pero nung nawala ako ng dalawang linggo na-miss ko nang sobra 'lsquo;yung show. Tapos na-realize ko hindi ko kayang iwanan 'lsquo;yung programa, 'lsquo;yung mga tao mismo sa programa hindi ko kayang iwanan."'nbsp;
Being a judge on the morning talent show, Vice is required to be spontaneous and entertaining every single day, so he consistently needs to come up with new "tricks" so that viewers won'rsquo;t get bored. "Kailangan talaga meron kang conscious effort.
Aside from Showtime, Vice Ganda is also coming up with his movie, Petrang Kabayo, which opens in theaters on October 13, and a music album is also on the works. Asked if he does not worry about being overexposed, the comedian replied, "Meron po. Kaya po nag-aaway kami lagi ni Ogie (Diaz, his manager), pinag-uusapan namin meron po akong fear na ma-over-expose pero nasa akin na rin 'lsquo;yon kung paano namin kakalkulahin 'lsquo;yung exposure."'nbsp;
Often accused by his detractors of becoming arrogant because of his fame, Vice Ganda said that he is aware that his fame is not forever, which is why he is enjoying his moment. Although he has denied that he has gotten arrogant, Vice explained that he realizes the responsibilities accompanied by his popularity.
