Kris Aquino refuses to rehash Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal

Now that Kris Aquino is leaving Pilipinas Win Na Win, there have been speculations whether or not she will be back to hosting Kapamilya Deal or No Deal which is already being plugged on ABS-CBN. But the Queen of All Media was quick to say that she'rsquo;d rather have a new TV show after shooting her movie Dalaw than return to KDOND. "Sorry ha, I am really being super blunt about it. Kasi ang gusto ko, gawan ni'rsquo;yo naman ako ng show na 'lsquo;di rehashed. Gawan ni'rsquo;yo ako ng something talaga that will make me shine. And I feel that I'rsquo;m talented enough and I'rsquo;ve paid my dues enough to have that. So siguro naiintindihan nila (ABS-CBN management) ako," stated Kris during the press con of her new Belo endorsement.

Apparently, management had asked her to do KDOND twice a week, but she has yet to make the commitment since that game show doesn'rsquo;t offer a challenge to her anymore.'nbsp; "KDOND is being plugged, but we'rsquo;re still discussing because I felt that I had done everything I could do for the show. Because the show was at its peak in 2007, when Noy ran for the Senate. Kasi ang campaign poster nga niya naka-thumbs up kaming dalawa. E presidente na siya ngayon so dapat mag-iba din naman ako. Pero as of this moment I'rsquo;m not connected with the show," she stressed.

Kris further shared that it'rsquo;s been three weeks since she first learned that she was going to be axed from Pilipinas Win Na Win and that she took the news better than expected.'nbsp; "I was asked to leave because they wanted to try a new set of hosts. I didn'rsquo;t pull any power trip. Hindi naman ako nag-tantrum, tinanggap ko naman. In fairness to ABS-CBN, two other shows were nilatag immediately for me but it was my decision to focus on the movie. Siguro it helps na I have four commercials to shoot in the next two months so buhay kami (Joshua and Baby James). Kaya kahit without the TV income, okay kami," she admitted with a laugh.

When told that a lot of people were amazed that she managed to stay calm and collected with the unexpected turn of events in her showbiz career, Kris claimed that she actually has more reasons to be grateful to ABS-CBN. "Kasi hindi naman pwede na mabait lang ako sa ABS-CBN when things are doing great. I had a hit teleserye (Kung Tayo'rsquo;y Magkakalayo), Pilipinas Got Talent was a phenomenal success... So if in their eyes kulang ang naibigay ko sa Pilipinas Win Na Win, wala akong magagawa except to improve myself. I'rsquo;ve reached a level of maturity siguro talaga na I could accept when I did not reach expectations and I also know all the times naman that I did great. That'rsquo;s why siguro tumigas ang ulo ko about doing Deal or No Deal," she stated.
