Vicki Belo wants to support Pinky Aquino's projects.
After reconciling with Kris Aquino who returned as an endorser for her clinics, Vicki Belo is now helping Kris's sisters Pinky and Ballsy Aquino in their charity efforts. Vicki donated two schools for Pinky's AGAPP Foundation (Aklat, Gabay, Aruga tungo sa Pag-angat at Pag-asa). "Advocacy kasi ni Ms. Pinky Aquino is to build pre-schools kasi may mga probinsya na talagang wala man lang kuryente, walang schools. Yung mga bata lumalakad ng ilang kilometro para makapasok tapos nakaupo lang sa stones. We are doing this kasi importanteng importante para sa ating bansa na maganda ang education," Vicki said. Vicki shares that this project makes her and Kris's friendship and partnership stronger and more significant. The beauty doctor has other charity work but according to her, what makes AGAPP Foundation different is that it will progressively nurture the children's future. "Sa Belo Medical Group kasi ayoko ng charity na bigay bigay lang ng money. Gusto ko yung you'll teach them how to fish and perfect ito kasi pre-school so the values are formed early and they will be able to go further kasi marami daw ang nagdo-drop out grade three pa lang kasi walang education prior, kaya hindi sila makabasa or makasulat that's why they feel so insecure daw kaya nagdo-drop out na lang kaya that is what we want to give them." The preschool project will be instituted all over the country. While the schools are being built, Ballsy will take charge of the in-school feeding program, one which will encourage the parents more to send their children to school because they don't have to worry about their baons. Kris, on the other hand, will spearhead the health care program. "Inako ko yung health care because I was the one there with mom, ako yung nakakita ng lahat alam ko what it is like kung wala kang pera at may sakit ka,' Kris said.
