More than the ratings, 'Imortal' lead stars John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin say that their priority is to please their audience.
The successful pilot week of the primetime teleserye Imortal is a big relief for its main stars Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz, who revealed that they were worried at first about viewers'rsquo; reaction to the teleserye. John Lloyd added that the main challenge to them now is to sustain the viewing public'rsquo;s interest in the show.
Though they are grateful for the high ratings, Angel pointed out that pleasing her audience is more important to her. It'rsquo;s not about ratings.
John Lloyd and Angel also reacted to claims that Imortal, just like its prequel, Lobo is very much like the popular Twilight movie series that are based on the best-selling books. The actor revealed that he has watched the said movies, but he stressed that there is big difference between Imortal and Twilight. Iba sila," he said.
Angel supported her leading man'rsquo;s statement and justified that Lobo (prequel of Imortal) started airing many months before the first Twilight movie was released.
