Piolo Pascual denies rumors linking him to publicist Joyce Ramirez

'My left eye is still blind. I got this from badminton. For some reason I got too excited, from backhand smash right away na-hit yung eye ko, strong yung impact. The doctor said it was 70% swollen and there was a blood clot. Bulag po yung gitna ko and slowly I am seeing from the background closing in. Yung blood clot unti-unting nagre-retract. It will take two more weeks for full recovery. Actually [kanina] sa steps hirap din ako kasi I am seeing from my right kailangan kong umanggulo. The balance was just not correct and there are people [going up the stage] taking pictures left and right. Pero sabi ng doctor one of these days I'll just wake up kumpleto na yung eyesight ko.' He was also advised by the doctor not to participate at the Run for Pasig event held the following day. He admits that he was disappointed because badminton is the only private time he gets to spend for himself. 'My private time is actually playing badminton which is actually taken away from me pa. I was advised not to play any extreme sports. I really can't run kasi hindi ko makita yung nailalakaran ko. I also stopped training for Camsur (Triathlon) because of Noah, sunod-sunod ang tapings and then concerts every now and then so wala talaga rest.' Meanwhile, Piolo dismissed the rumors linking him to publicist Joyce Ramirez. The issue started when photos of them together circulated on the Internet. 'Nababasa ko yun. Joyce Ramirez and I only got to see each other twice, I think. During the pictorial for The A-List: 100 Filipino Luminaries and then another one for an interview... And that was it. I never got to see her, it's been months. I was surprised to our photo together.' He added that they didn'rsquo;t have any communication after the stint. '[We don't text] because we didn't exchange numbers'hellip; She is really nice and accommodating. Speculations say that Joyce is hooking him up with people in Hollywood. 'Yes, [it was brought up] after the pictorial for 100 Luminaries pero after that there was no follow up pa. She has a good connection in Hollywood, she was saying.' If he does get an offer from Hollywood, Piolo admitted he'rsquo;s open to giving it a chance. 'I am fine here. I've got a handful of things to do. If it happens, it happens. Masaya na po ako sa buhay ko. Kuntento ako bilang Filipino actor pero if there's a break, of course, it is a bigger break and a bigger offer, who wouldn't want that?'
