Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales are just happy with the support of their fans.
As one of the hottest love teams in the country today, Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales recently made their big screen debut as a tandem with the romantic comedy I Do. Aside from that, they are also seen every weeknight in the primetime drama Magkaribal.
The two Star Magic talents consider themselves very blessed. "This movie is a dream come true. Maraming artista ang nangangarap nito and we were the ones given the chance so we just want everyone to feel na pinapahalagahan namin yung binibigay sa amin," Enchong explained. Now that they have been given more projects, people are asking if the two young stars are planning to compete against the tandem of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. "Wala naman pong competition sa amin. Andito po kami para galingan yung trabaho namin at pasayahin yung mga taong sumusuporta sa amin," Erich said. Off-cam, Erich and Kim are actually good friends, so any rumored rivalry is going to be a friendly competition and nothing personal. "At the end of the day, trabaho lang naman ito and sila Kim rin naman supportive. We'rsquo;re actually looking forward sa gagawin nilang movie, so suportahin rin po natin sila," she stressed.
For Enchong, he doesn'rsquo;t believe that there is any kind of rivalry between them, so Kimerald fans need not be alarmed. "Wala namang ganung bagay. We'rsquo;re very happy kasi magkakaibigan kami. We support each other. Sobrang thankful kami ni Erich sa kanila," he said. Despite their rising careers, the two remain humble even as lead stars of I Do. "Naku, kumbaga, nagsisimula pa lang kami. Ang dami pa naming kailangang pagdaanan. Kumbaga, wala pa ito. Start pa lang ito," Erich said. Her Magkaribal co-star Enchong agrees that it pays not to let success get to them. "Baka mapaso kami 'lsquo;pag inisip namin na mainit na love team namin, 'lsquo;di ba? Ngayon same, same lang kami. Bukas, babalik na kami sa taping ng Magkaribal. Ganun. So ayun, basta sobrang thankful kami," he added.
