Mark Bautista admits that he intends to give time to his love life before he reaches the age of 30.
Mark Bautista said that 2009 has been very kind to his career, having attained endorsement deals and a gold record award for his fourth album. “I must say itong year na ito lang ‘yung sinagot lang talaga ‘yung prayers ko at ipinagdasal ko talaga ‘yung mga bagay na nangyari sa akin this year. Sobrang overwhelming,” he beamed.
The singer admitted, however, that his love life remains at a standstill. Even when former leading lady and fellow singer Sarah Geronimo said in a previous interview that she is open to the possibility of ending up with him in the future, Mark explained that Sarah may not yet be ready for a serious relationship. “Alam mo hindi mo rin naman puwedeng madaliin din si Sarah kasi alam mo naman sa stature rin niya na hindi lang basta-basta. Marami rin siyang priorities pa sa ngayon.”
Aside from the fact that he’s in no hurry to get into a relationship, the 28-year-old crooner explained that he would like to focus on the work opportunities coming his way. He revealed that he is scheduled to come out with his fifth album next year and some endorsements as well. But he revealed that he plans on giving his love life some attention before he reaches the age of 30.
Mark will also return to acting in 2010 through a film to be top-billed by Aga Muhlach and Regine Velasquez. “Pero pahinga muna kami this Christmas. Siyempre andaming mga invitations, andaming magaganap pero baka next year ipalabas na siya,” he explained.
With Christmas just around the corner, Mark said that he has not yet thought of a gift for himself because of a number of commitments. “Wala muna for myself. Kasi this year naman, may month na tinreat ko ‘yung sarili ko, nag-shopping ako for myself. Sobra. Tapos namili ako ng ganyan-ganyan. Okay na ako,” he explained. Earlier this year, Mark revealed that he already bought his second brand new car.
