Pilipinas Got Talent
host Luis Manzano said that the fourth season of PGT
will go a notch higher that its predecessors. “Panibagong putahe
. Vey excited [ako
]. I was able to watch the pilot episode, trust me po
, must-watch ang
pilot episode. Natatawa kami
… unbelievable! [The] production [team] went the extra mile to give you an all new PGT. I tell you it’s going to be something different,” he beamed.
Apart from PGT, Luis is also currently hosting the weekly morning game show Minute To Win It and the Saturday night game show, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal. Because of his numerous hosting stints, Luis said that he is setting aside his acting career. “Honestly, hindi ko malugaran [ang paggawa ng movie]. ASAP nga hindi ko ma-regular, paano pa ang pelikula? It’s better this way instead of biting off more than I can chew. Mas nakaka-focus ako sa mga mas kailangan kong gawin,” he said.
On a personal note, Luis is shrugging off certain issues, like his alleged intention to run for public office and a rumored marriage to girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.
There had been claims that he would run for mayor in Lipa, but Luis dismissed this. “Mas nag-ingay pa ang ibang tao,” he replied. However, he said that he is not closing his doors on the possibility of becoming a public official.
As to the claim that his dad Edu Manzano allegedly made a joke that suggested that Luis and Jennylyn are already married, the younger Manzano reasoned, “Hindi gagawin ng daddy ko ‘yon. I don’t see the point kung bakit gagawin ng daddy ko ‘yon, so wala, wala talaga.”
