013113-coco_main.jpgCoco Martin confessed that his schedule is so busy these days that he hardly gets enough time to rest. However, the very in-demand actor has no complaints because the opportunities he is now enjoying is something that he prayed for for a very long time. This is the reason that he chooses to make the most out of it, despite the hectic schedule.

Coco top-bills the fantaserye Juan dela Cruz, which will premiere February 4, airing after TV Patrol. Though he admitted that he feels pressured to make the series do well, he is confident that he and the rest of the team will deliver a good show because he believes in the people behind the teleserye.

At the recent press conference for Juan dela Cruz, a reporter asked Coco if he experienced having bad moods while he was on the set.

Coco added that one of the reasons that his current TV project is a little bit of a challenge to him is because he did not have enough time to train and work out for his role, which is physically demanding. Furthermore, Coco said that his hectic schedule sometimes takes its toll on his health.

Coco has come a long way from his indie roots and is now considered as a Prince of Teleserye. The actor reaffirmed that his attitude towards work has remained the same.

Coco’s leading lady in Juan dela Cruz is Erich Gonzales, whom the actor sent feelers to when they first worked together in the 2010 indie movie ‘Noy.  However, their friendship didn’t blossom into something romantic because as Erich reasoned that her priority as well as Coco’s are their respective careers.

Coco said that his leading lady’s non-showbiz boyfriend has no reason to be jealous of him.

When asked how he sees Erich now, Coco replied, “Isang kaibigan at isang katrabaho at inspirasyon para mas mapaganda ang partnership namin.”
