012313-zsazsa_main.jpg“To come home to you would have been the best part of any day,” tweeted Zsa Zsa Padilla, after a long working day on the set of Juan Dela Cruz last week. More than six months after Dolphy’s passing, Zsa Zsa Padilla admitted that she’s still mourning the loss of her partner of 23 years.

Ganon talaga e. I think it takes a while. It’s a process. ‘Pag pagod ako dun ko nararamdaman. I was crying when I was tweeting it. 23 years kami nagsama, tapos ‘pag uuwi ka, whatever condition he is in, I know that he's waiting for me. ‘Pag nawala na yun sa buhay mo, it's sad,” said Zsa Zsa when Push.com.ph and other entertainment reporters visited her on the set of Juan Dela Cruz last Friday, January 18.

Zsa Zsa further shared that she takes comfort in wearing Dolphy’s clothes, like the button-down shirt she was wearing during the set visit.

The singer-actress was so used to sharing her thoughts with Dolphy that she would still talk out loud, as if having a conversation with him, even to this day. It’s one of her ways to cope with her loss and loneliness. “Meron kaming coffee moments. When I was in L.A. (Los Angeles), meron siyang window na ganyan, I’d sit and talk to him then I end it with a prayer. So everyday ginawa kong ritual yun. Sabi ni K (daughter Karylle), ‘Mom, what are you doing on top of the sink?’ ‘I’m talking to Dolphy.’”

It’s good to see that she seems to be coping well though as she jokes about her plans this coming Valentine’s Day. “Eto na. Siyempre, hinahanda mo yung gift mo [to your special someone] every occasion.

However, her close friend Kris Aquino has already invited her to go out of town in February. “Si Kris nagyayaya sa beach. So tini-tweet niya kanina pinayagan na daw ako ni Sir Deo (Endrinal). She showed me some photos of where we’ll be going. Bagong resort siya. I love the beaches here in the Philippines.”

She has decided to go with Kris since her daughters have their own plans anyway. “Nicole (Quizon) is back here. Si Zia (Quizon) may date with her non-showbiz boyfriend. Si Karylle busy, baka may show. So ayoko muna mag-show baka mamaya puro iyak gawin ko.”
