111412-zanjoe_main.jpgAfter joining the cast of Banana Split over three years ago, Zanjoe Marudo said that he considers the cast his second family. The 30-year-old actor said he is proud of the show’s continuous success and his camaraderie with the rest of the cast and crew.

Nag-e-enjoy ako kaya hindi ako napapagod so thank you sa Banana Split,” he shared.

The model-turned-actor said that even though he may appear quiet and reserved in person, it does not mean he does not enjoy being a comedian along with fellow cast members Jayson Gainza, Ryan Bang, Melai Cantiveros, John Prats, Pooh, and Angelica Panganiban. Pero hindi niyo lang alam, meron akong pang-tawa,” he said.

Zanjoe admitted that unlike his other projects, his bonding with his Banana Split family has gotten strong over the years after he joined the show’s second season in 2009.

As Banana Split celebrates its fourth anniversary this month, Zanjoe shared what he hopes will be a long-running relationship with one of the Kapamilya network’s funniest shows. Yung talaga yung pangarap ko,” he said.
