Anne Curtis was quick to refute recent reports that her co-host Vhong Navarro has been causing problems for Showtime due to his frequent absences. While it is true that he missed several episodes of the top-rating noontime show, Anne stressed that Vhong has a valid reason for doing so. "It'rsquo;s either may taping siya or may sakit." She further shared that their colleagues in Showtime are very supportive of their other TV or movie projects. "May time na ako ang naga-absent. Hinihila ako sa 'Babe, I Love You,' hinihila ako sa 'Green Rose.' Tapos kung puyat [sa shooting], 'lsquo;di ka makakarating on time [sa studio]. It's just a matter of understanding and family kami. Walang isyung gan'rsquo;on."
Vice Ganda also had hesitations about returning as the show'rsquo;s resident judge after his concert tours abroad. But Anne explained that Vice has already made an effort to spice up his role in Showtime by doing impromptu performances. "He's just really pressured. Pero family pa rin yun. Hindi niya matanggal na it'rsquo;s part of life. Napre-pressure lang yun kasi may feedback from people so malaki yung pressure on his part kasi siya yung nagsasalita e."
Anne just tells Vice to just learn the art of dedma when dealing with intrigues. "Huwag na siya magbasa [ng any write ups about him], yun lang yun, para hindi na siya maapektuhan. Kasi nakakawala talaga ng gana." She maintained that there'rsquo;s really no point to dwelling too much about what their detractors say about them. "Mga people yun who probably just want to pull them down. Basta ang main aim namin is to make people happy, yun ang mahalaga."
